1. Who we are

Simon Mamo Real Estate ("we", "us"), a Maltese real estate agency, operates careers.simonmamo.net to manage recruitment.

2. What we collect

When you apply we collect: name, email, phone, LinkedIn URL, CV, cover letter, application metadata (date, source). When an interview is scheduled we add: interview notes, recruiter assessments, references provided by you.

3. Legal basis

We process your data on the legal basis of (a) your explicit consent given on the apply form and (b) our legitimate interest in evaluating candidates for open roles.

4. Retention

Unsuccessful applications are kept for up to 12 months from the close date of the role, then automatically deleted unless you opted to remain in our talent pool.

5. Your rights

• Access — request a copy of your data: email carlos@simonmamo.com or use the export endpoint.
• Rectification — request a correction.
• Erasure — request deletion at any time.
• Restriction — ask us to stop processing while a dispute is resolved.
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest.
• Lodge a complaint with the Maltese Information and Data Protection Commissioner (idpc.org.mt).

6. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with internal recruiters and, where strictly necessary, with reference contacts you provide. CVs are stored on encrypted infrastructure in the EU.
